Business strategy and vision. My goodness, that is a big topic, and we are early in January. I’m not sure if you’re ready for this. I’m not sure if I’m ready for this. But let’s have a little talk about that.
A business vision is you working out where you want to be. We call it our big, big, hairy, audacious goal, where do we want to be in 10 years, and then looking at personally, where you want to be making sure that the business is going to give you the income or the lifestyle that you want. It’s all about helping you to define where you want to be, and then how to get there.
Business strategy is the roadmap, it’s how you’re going to get there. The are millions of coaches around the world who will sit with you for days and days to try and suck out this vision and the strategy from you. My suggestion is to sit down one afternoon, get some paper, do some doodling, draw out what you want to be. Then work backwards.
Talk to us about the 90 day plan. Think about your big, hairy, audacious goal. Don’t make it harder than it needs to be. You’re not a big corporate, you’re a small business. You’re agile, you can pivot you can move. The most important thing is for you to know in your head, where you want to go.
